Miami Wade County
Miami-Dade County is kicking off a week long "We Want Wade" campaign to convince heat superstar guard Dwyane Wade to stay in Miami. Miami- Dade county is being renamed Miami-Wade County from July 1 - July 8.Even though Wade has emphatically stated that Miami is where he wants to be, he is expected to become a free-agent July 1.
The Heat is the only team in the NBA that can offer Wade a contract worth $125 million and bring in one or two more superstar players with maximum contracts like Lebron James or Chris Bosh.

Former NFL great son found dead in hot tub
Former NFL star Randall Cunningham’s 2-year-old son was found dead,drowned in a backyard hot tub at his Las Vegas home, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported late Tuesday.
The child was discovered at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday by a woman and several children at Cunningham’s house.
The woman removed the boy from the water and attempted to perform CPR, Las Vegas police Lt. Dennis Flynn said.
The death was being investigated by abuse and neglect detectives, but Flynn said the drowning appeared to be an accident.
Cunningham, 47, played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings before retiring in 2002

LaBron James and Chris Bosh to the Miami Heat:
Sources close to the situation said Monday night that three of the biggest names in basketball -- Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James -- met over the weekend in Miami to seriously discuss their futures, with a focus on the increasingly plausible possibility of those three teaming up with Wade's Heat. Let's just wait till July 6 to see where each player will go defiantly!!! My vote is with Jay- Z but we'll just have to wait and see!!!
Jay and his girls declined to perform at BET 10
Jay Z , Beyonce' and Rhianna didn't perform at BET 10 because they didn't want to be on the same show as Chris Brown. Word is that they were all asked to perform but declined once they found out Breezy was going to shut it down with the Michael Jackson tribute.Come on Carters we heart you and you of all people no everyone deserves a second chance..we look for the day when we can see all our Black Star Power shine.............

Lauryn on being both a singer and a rapper
“There used to be a singing voice and there used to be a rapping voice but now the singing voice has to become more like my speaking voice in order for the two to be able to coexist."
On her creative experience “When I create music, I think the feeling you get, I get first….when I first have a creative insight, not just the voice but the creativity, the production, the idea, the concept, the music involved, there is a high, there is an emotional experience for sure”. (:01-:26)
On her creative experience “I think I made music, especially back in the day, as consistently as I did because it made me feel so good. Some might even argue that it may be a creative addiction, but the healthy kind”. (:43-:54)

Why she stopped putting out music “There were a number of different reasons," she says. "But partly, the support system that I needed was not necessarily in place. There were things about myself, personal-growth things, that I had to go through in order to feel like it was worth it. Oftentimes, I think people are forced to make decisions prematurely. And then that sound radiates.”
"I'm trying to open up my range and really sing more," she says. "With The Fugees initially, and even with Miseducation, it was very hip-hop — always a singing over beats. I don't think people have really heard me sing out. So if I do record again, perhaps it will have an expanded context. Where people can hear a bit more."
"I don't know if you know this, but I have five children," she says. "The youngest is 2 now, so she's old enough that I can leave her for a period of time and know she's going to be okay. That's one reason [Hill is starting to perform again]. And I think it's just time. I'm starting to get excited again. Believe it or not, I think what people are attracted to about me, if anything, is my passion. People got exposed to my passion through music and song first. I think people might realize, you know, 'We love the way she sounds, we love the music, but I think we just love how fearless she is. How boundless she is, when it comes to what she wants to do.' And I think that can be infectious."
Did NIkki Minaj live up to the hype???
Although Nikki Minaj won an award she didn't live up to the hype last night at the 2010 BET Awards....her outfit looked like Chuckies Bride in a Lady Gaga sort of fashion and her performance with the animation would have been cute if we would have been able to hear her vocals.....all in all she still has work to do b 4 she starts taking titles!!! and why did she win an award with no album..."Trina was snubbed"...excuse me Lil Kim your still Queen Bee

Miami Heat guard Dwayne divorce is finally final. D-Wade said "that he was relieved and it's
been a long, long process and that he was finally happy to get that part behind him, and said that he felt great even tho he still had more to be done.... wonder will Siohvaugh wanna be added to Basketball wives so we can get the real scoop!
