Bernard told a Miami-Dade jury that he was ordered by members of the Miami-Dade School Board to make sure former star running back Antwain Easterling played in the state football championship game despite his arrest for having sex with an under aged teen on school campus in 2006.
"They said the kid would play after I said no," Bernard said. "They told me he was going to play because they said an arrest did not constitute an admission of any guilt Easterling, who was 18 at the time, was caught in a restroom having sex with a 14-year-old girl just days before the state championship game. Instead of being punished or suspended, Easterling played in the game and helped Northwestern win the state title.
On Thursday University of Miami star quarterback Jacory Harris took the stand on behalf of Bernard The case has already gone to the jury and{We all know what the Northwestern Sr High school home of the BULLS represent to the community of Liberty City}....Good luck !
